Technical Sales Manager

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic support for the sales pipeline of Process Automation-related solutions, focusing on Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) and develop Value Propositions for clients in the Oil & Gas organisations/EPCs in the Asia Region
  • Build strong relationships with technical stakeholders to generate interest in revenue-generating services such as pre-project consultation and feasibility studies, site audits, etc
  • Drive sales growth through building targeted demos and proof of concept (POC) including competitive differentiation (reliability/security) and prepare technical content for winning proposals
  • Provide technical leadership to map out architecture and advise how system solutions will effectively resolve customers’ pain-points and alleviate their current constraints for optimal performance
  • Keep customers needs in the centre and facilitate integration of organisation’s offers to customers
  • Develop expertise in offers and on-going global roadmap changes and system enhancements and analyse commercial opportunities for conversion

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering
  • Regional travel to Asia countries is expected on the job
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in control system engineering and operations management such as SIS, SCADA, PLCs, Field Networks, Control Systems Architecture
  • Customer-centric and possess proven ability to engage customers with technical content
  • Possess persuasive skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience in selling into the Oil and Gas/EPCs domain is preferred.
