Project Coordinator (Architectural)

Our client is an established MNC in the Infrastructure & Construction industry. They are looking for a Project Coordinator (Architectural) to support construction projects in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

The Project Coordinator (Architectural) will:

• Design management of Architect design with QP (Architect), and provide close coordination with Architect, Structural and M&E staff members and sub-contractor to make necessary changes to the planning and vent shaft configuration to enable design compliance while ensuring none or minimal impact to the footprint of the Station
• Work with QP to carry out detailed design, review project specifications, technical clarifications and construction drawings are in compliance with all statutory requirements and prevalent codes of practices, including but not limited to building plans, fire safety measures, development control, flood protection etc.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise all architectural work on-site to ensure project completion timely within schedule, cost and quality
• Support design preparation and submission to Consultant for Materials, Shop Drawings related to architectural finishes works on-site and construction methods approvals before the commencement of work
• Coordinate, monitor and control Architectural sub-contractors progress and quality of works
• Liaise with Consultant in solving technical and detailing issues of Architectural works
• Attend Project coordination meetings
• Conduct inspections to ensure work is carried out according to contract specification, codes of practices and safety and environmental regulations; including minimizing impact to public and stakeholders
• Other duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Architectural or equivalent
• Minimum five (5) years of working experience after tertiary education in the relevant architectural field in the construction supervision of architectural works for projects of similar scale, complexity and nature of work
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and communicate effectively with subcontractors’ engineers
