Our client is an well-established brand in the optometry industry and they are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join their retail store:
Responsibilities:
The Optometrist will:
- Deliver total satisfaction to customers through conducting thorough eye examinations with specialised equipment
- Offer customers recommendations to the highest professional and ethical standards and use your knowledge to effectively identify
customer needs and recommend eyewear and eye care solutions accordingly - Communicating with patients to get detailed case histories
- Examine the eyes of patients of all ages according to guidelines and use specialist equipment for diagnosis and testing.
- Issue prescription and oversee the sale of contact lenses, trials, and solutions
- Offer advice and reassurance about vision-related matters and offer help and advice for patients choosing frames and lenses
- Manage and maintain equipment and measuring devices
- Ensure daily business operations run smoothly
Requirements:
- Diploma in Optometry or Certificate in Opticianry Competency (Dispensing and Refraction) Test
- Fully-registered with Optometrists & Opticians Boards (OOB)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Optical industry
- Able to work retail hours for 6 days a week
- Able to work on weekends and public holidays
- Enthusiastic, customer-centric, strong communication skills
