Cad Drafter (Construction)

Our client is an established MNC in the Infrastructure & Construction industry.
They are looking for a Cad Drafter to support construction projects in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

The Cad Drafter will:

• Create or modify drawings for construction sequence related to shallow/deep excavation works, according to structural or geotechnical engineer’s instructions
• Monitor and enforce building codes in all stages of the construction process
• Ensure that engineering data complies with the design plans
• Maintain high accuracy in electronic drafting
• Be the Coordinator for manual and electronic drawing archives
• Handle the maintenance of plotters and printers
• Be an independent team player
• Communicate effectively with construction teams and engineers, and provide necessary adjustments as and when possible
• Check the completed construction drawing, cost estimates, and standard compliance

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in construction sequence drawing and shop drawing for at least 3 years
• Min Degree in Building Management / Construction Management / Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Skilled in Autocad
• Site experience in MRT or Underground roadway project is preferred
• Knowledge in Business Information Modelling
• Good inter-personal skills
• Adaptive to frequent project changes, and work under pressure and tight deadlines
