BIM Modeller (Construction)
Our client is an established MNC in the Infrastructure & Construction industry and they are looking for a dynamic and adaptable BIM Modeller to join their project team:
Responsibilities:
The BIM Modeller (Construction) will:
- Create new drawings or make changes to existing drawings following the geotechnical engineers’ instructions for construction sequences related to excavation works
- Ensure building code compliance throughout the construction process
- Verify that engineering data is compliant with the original design plans
- Ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of electronic drafting
- Coordinate filling, storage, and retrieval of both manual and electronic drawings
- Maintain, support and operate associated plotters and printers
- Work closely with construction teams and engineers to explain drawings and adjust them when needed
- Review completed construction drawings and cost estimates for accuracy and conformity to standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Building Management or Construction Management (Civil Engineering or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of experience with the main contractor in MRT projects
- Must have relevant experience with Business Information Modelling, construction sequence drawing, and shop drawing
- Proficiency in using Autocad
- Site experience with MRT or Underground roadway projects is strongly preferred
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines
- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
