HR Business Partner

As the HR Business Partner, you will be supporting the Head of HR in leading and managing the full spectrum of HR operations.  You will be providing end-to-end support in developing HR policies, processes and other metrics that support the business objectives of the organization.

The successful incumbent will;

  • Build strong and credible relationships with management, acting as a coach and advising on all people issues, plans and strategies to facilitate and enable decision making
  • Assist in the running of HR operations
  • Assist to formulate, review and improve company policies & procedures
  • Be involved in the talent acquisition, assessment/selection and associated processes
  • Provide guidance on employment law issues and eligibility of work passes to ensure compliance
  • Produce timely HR reports and analytical recommendations from data and/or trends
  • Lead company compliance with all existing governmental and labour legal requirements
  • Support employees and managers in all HR related issues

To be considered, candidates should possess the following;

  • Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with 3 years in a managerial capacity and business partnering. Experience working in a construction industry will be highly advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills and well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work with diverse personalities at all levels
  • Sound HR knowledge and in-depth understanding of local employment law
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, ability to coach, challenge and address conflict when required and appropriately
  • Traits of being analytical, attentive to detail and innovative HR-oriented mind
  • Capacity to exercise sound judgment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through persuasion and expertise; building influence through building, maintaining, and leveraging relationships across all levels within the organization
